BMW_factory_Berlin

The vast majority of ”slash-2” (a common term that is not technically correct) BMW motorcycles were built at the factory in Munich. However, in the late 1960s, production was moved incrementally to Berlin. The photo above shows the very first motorcycle produced in Berlin — an R60/2.
